actual overthrow restrictions

i'll be honest, the shit are in a shithole in terms of command. each week we have a new emperor, and it's getting to the point where it's stupid. good emperors get overthrown by people who just want to fuck up the sith or want power, and then they get re-overthrown, etc etc. I think there needs to be set in stone restrictions on who can overthrow (reasons)

Reasons that shouldn't be allowed:
- I wan't power
- Why not
Really any non-valid reasons. Only valid ones are to put in a place a better Emperor. There is no point to kick out an actual good Emperor

Other things?
- Maybe make it so only Darth+ can overthrow
- Make it so if you want to be qualified for faction leader ever you need to fill out a form so random guys w/o qualifications cannot get it
 
I want power is a good reason for Sith OT, It meets the lore nice. If you like a emp keep him in power do a better job at defending, If he is bad/inactive

I'll have to agree with oil, I know where this comes from and all I can really recommend is to hold your spot, most emperors get overthrown cause of their extreme paranoia, while others keep it for not giving a fuck about keeping it.
 
I believe what he means by darth+ is ONLY darths can join a OT no apprentices or lords. That’s an interesting idea but I believe apprentices can crave the power they get from helping aka whoever gets emperor gives them a promo for helping.

Now I believe the EE should work the same as Jedi as in lore there is no OT on valk correct me if I’m wrong Vaylin and arcann teamed up to get him off the throne by a vote or hostile take over I don’t know lol all I know is valk was alive.

if we were to go by lore, i'm fairly sure Arcann, Thexan, Vaylin, or Valkorian could put down a coup just by themselves unless it was another family member
 
No one OT's to actually do something with the sith,
I personally only OT to get someone out of power who shouldn't have it, then give it to someone who should have power.

by OTing for power I mean you should be able to OT for power, but you have to actually do stuff with emperor you can't just do it to be emperor and let sith die

Anzati you're my friend and all, but I'm not going to let you lie and pretend to be some righteous person who only overthrows for the greater good. So far you've only overthrown two people recently and it seems like you're gunning for a 3rd. The first overthrow was ZoZo, ZoZo was a good Emperor and his overthrow honestly marked the downfall of the Sith and is the very reason the Sith is in its' sorry state that it is now. When you first overthrew ZoZo you ran around telling people you did it for the meme, not because he was bad, not because of the reason you're claiming nowadays that he was "inactive", but for a meme. Hell, he was extremely active and probably left the server because he got overthrown, so I'm not quite sure why you're acting like you did a good thing by overthrowing him. Then comes the second half of what you said "then give it to someone who should have power". All I'm saying is you gave it to someone who was a Lord or something the previous day and did it for your own gain (Caitlyn). I'll be honest and say I don't know too much about how Midas ruled, so I can't criticize you too much about that. However, you handing it down to Riddick/Star Killer was most likely not the whole "people who deserve power" thing as at the time Riddick was viewed as a big minge who solo raided and RDM'd all the time because he was bored and got on once every few weeks to do it over and over again. He could easily avoid a perma because he gives Shepard free shit, so no staff could touch him. People were also pissed about all the accusations (not 100% if it was true or not) about him having a crystal that not only gave him Ancient damage, but also 50 speed or something. To say it shortly, he had a bad reputation and didn't play the server except to minge. Although hes doing okay now, at the time he wasn't someone who deserved power. This brings me to my final point, many people are preaching the whole "give Riddick a chance" despite his reputation because hes attempting to bring change for the better to the Sith. You don't want him removed from Emperor and you put him in power yourself, so my question is, why are you trying to get Fives removed from Emperor? Hes doing his best to bring about change to the EE for the better, I don't see why you want him removed except for his, I'll put it bluntly, mildly racist comments he makes about every race to his FRIENDS in a PRIVATE channel. All I'm saying is you overthrow for memes, try to act like you're doing God's Work, and we desperately need something to change about how faction leaders come to power if we want better things to come to the server.

tldr: Anzati you only OT as a meme, you don't put people in power who deserve it and we need something to change about the rules for how people become faction leaders.
 
i told u vick, zozo was inactive and didnt do much. He never deserved the position, he never STRIVED for it. He always let people give it to him. Also Midas, he was just constantly toxic for no reason and i'd rather not an emperor like that. I am doing gods work;)

Honestly, maybe something we should do is applications but not how they normally work. Applications would give a person the chance to assume the role as a faction leader, this does not mean that they will get faction leader right away after they're accepted but rather we will be able to prevent people from becoming faction leader for just nothing. If this does happen, the applications should be OOC because if a darth or dc member applies and gets accepted the current emp should not be allowed to demote them for being accepted, however with this acceptance, the person is able to overthrow whenever they please. I feel this is one of the only fixes that could make a difference in the fight for faction leader. (current leaders will not need to fill this out)
 
Make the applications a private interview with an SA+? Do it over discord or something, then you can say "I was approved by [insert name]"
