I mean I think its a combination of things. The update with the skill tress made people lose there builds which triggered people. Alot of the drama around Caitlyn. Dwaynes demotion for a week and Moxxins unban. All of these things happened in a very short time and all of these things lead to a bigger issue which we face now. Its not just Moxxi being unbanned, its a combination.

Well put, You can't just place blame on one persons shoulders as if it's all that persons fault, because it isn't.

edit: And it makes it all that much harder to get a reasonable opinion out there where everyone is so dead set on one thing and one thing only. To progress as a faction you're gonna need to have an open mind to new leaders. If you constantly look towards the past on how to improve your future you will never truly make steps forward, you are taking them backward. Cut the shit and stop relying on the past to fix your future mistakes. Take risks when deciding on a new leader. I want to see how Macklin does as Emperor just so he can prove these godforsaken Moxxi cultists wrong. But he has to make Moxxi rise the ranks normally.

I would like to make it known that Macklin isn't Moxxi's puppet as you say he is. He's only been faction leader for 2 days now and Is immediately taking flak for stuff HE hasn't even done. I understand where you are coming from, as you probably can see where I am but I think assuming something doesn't always work out for either sides.

You are going on assuming that Macklin is going to be Moxxi's puppet when he's not. You've also assumed that Dark Brotherhood was a footholding for Overthrows when it wasn't either. It was literally just an Organization for Moxxi to run.

This is not assumed, it was literally stated in the DB docs that the org would overthrow if the leader of it wanted to...
 
When I said Moxxi was not a player, I had just reasoning to say such. Secondly, people say and do so much worse than what I have done so you can't really just pin such things on me and act like I am just a travesty towards Moxxi. Do I absolutely despise Moxxi, no. You can ask people who talked to me about him even after he got banned, as a person I liked him but with obvious flaws. As Emperor I despised him, I never want to see Emperor in his name again.
 
I remember when moxxi tried to legit make a server Illuminati so he could control all of the factions. Also when me and spectre were able to mass rdm the entire server because we were chill with moxxi and no one said anything about it.
 
I am posting this for a person who wants to stay out of the Drama, The only hint is his name starts with J and ends with a B

1) As a previous staff member should you really be leaking conversations between staff within the @ chat? Luv u but you should know not to do this.

2) Most of the people who left valid +1s (meaning they had a reason for their +1 and didn't just write "+1") said as long as he isn't staff and remains faction leader banned then he is ok to come back.

3) Many players are against Moxxi being in power because he often acts out of frustration/anger and makes rash decisions.

4) Emperor's should be known by a majority of solid players who are active almost daily regardless of who is online; not by a swing vote of players who only log on to contribute numbers but have no time or who haven't played on the server in months.

5) The Caitlyn thing is basically solved; she no longer is empress nor has any power over any player.

6) Moxxi was a good emperor because people feared him-becausehewasafounderandtheywereafraidofgettingsmited (I don't think he would be as feared now).

7) My thot squad -consisting of certain people who hang around Moxxi- say he is more calm but still is toxic and acts on his anger regarding other players.

Moxxi and I were friends and I really tried to help him with all my being even though people told me I was being stupid. I really cared about Moxxi as a friend- shit I still hope he finds his way in life. I know Moxxi can be nice but I feel like at times he doesn't take responsibility for his actions or words. He shrugs it off and/or ignores everyone.

Now Moxxi, the way you prove yourself to everyone is by not acting on anger or spreading toxicity. Make friends with people outside your "goon squad". Build and fix bridges instead of leaving them all burned down.


Moxxi has thrown many people to the side- people who have been willing to sit and talk to him for hours. Moxxi should not be emperor for a long while. He needs to learn to be a normal player and learn the life lesson of cherishing friends not a useless position on a gmod server. He takes it too seriously and it's not healthy.
